Immersive Dinner
Wear items to replicate lowered hearing and/or vision while navigating everyday tasks- like ordering food, eating, and holding a conversation at the table.

About the event
Doors open at 5:30. Guests will receive items to lower hearing/vision and then are given errands to run. Once two errands have been completed, they will get a drink while being waited to be seated. Dinner service will begin once the guests are seated.
After dinner, members of the Deaf Community will sit with guests and share their own stories of where accessibility was lacking, and ways to improve our community and make society more accessible for all.

Deaf Community Member
We want our Deaf Community members to be able to attend this event for free. We want you to share your stories with those around you. We'll have white boards and tablets as needed. Please come with the idea that you will be able to share with others when you lacked accessibility and what we can do to improve our community!
